South African Vultures in Need
The Foundation awarded a grant to the Charities Aid Foundation America to purchase veterinary equipment. CAFA partnered with the Vulture Programme (VulPro) to add medical equipment to its clinic in South Africa, which treats sick and injured vultures. The equipment includes an x-ray system, an anesthesia apparatus, and orthopedic surgical items. This was the Foundation’s second grant to support veterinary work in South Africa that benefits vultures.
