Help For Costa Rican Macaws
The Foundation has made a $50,000 grant to the Macaw Recovery Project USA to support a project that will reintroduce the critically endangered Great Green Macaw in Costa Rica. The Macaw Recovery Project’s mission is to protect and recover the endangered parrot populations of the Americas. This organization is a leader in using breeding programs to reintroduce endangered parrots to recover these wild populations. The funded project will release 30 Great Green Macaws and conduct post-release monitoring.
